June Eustice DIY Project 4 "Rough Draft of Programs"

Well one morning I was up at 4am and couldn't sleep... So I thought I would take a stab at our programs. At first I wanted to do the flip book style. But Brandon wasn't feeling it. =( So I thought using this idea I still can have my flip page lol.. (the pictures are just a rough draft) I plan on using brown card stock for the main, the front and inside will be a champagne color and the lettering color will be fuchsia (or what ever close I can get it to). I will add a fuchsia ribbon and a heart c… Continue

June Eustice DIY Project 3 "Favor Tags"

Well I finally made my gift tags for the guest. I'm really liking the circle with the rose, so does Brandons mom =P... I think it'll go well with my polka dots lol... I'll be adding these to the heart place card/picture frames. Maybe I should use the other for the bridesmaids gifts... What do you ladies think? I used Microsoft Publisher Extracted the fonts from www.fontspace.com And got the rose from www.weddingclipart.com… Continue

June Eustice DIY Project 5 "Our Monogram"

June Eustice My First DIY "I DO"

I DO will be for the cake table... This is my first DIY project lol... I think it turned out cute... I know I have a lot of time until my wedding... But I think is good to be on top of things... Sorry the picture didn't turn out so well... Darn camera phone =) At first I was going to purchase the letters already painted but no jewels... And with tax and shipping it turned out to be $39. But doing it myself I spent under $20 to make. Not bad... I got the items from Hobby Lobby: I used: Routed Wo… Continue

June Eustice DIY Project 2 "CardBox"

Well, I'm almost done with my card box. I think it turned out cute... Once I get the right papers in, I'm going to add our monogram to it. I painted the boxes instead of using paper or fabric. The boxes material was like stiff paper bags so the paint dried pretty quick, like 10 minutes. (paper mache) I made the bows from card stock lol... I'll post the finished pic soon! Here recently I did do some adjustments. I painted the cream hearts to fuchsia. And I took off the big bow with the heart and… Continue

June Eustice Bouquets, Corsages, Boutonnieres Oh My!

Couple of months ago my soon to be mother in law and I went to hobby lobby to see what flowers are available. At first I thought I knew what I wanted... But did they have it? Why heck no lol... That was the gerbera daisies... But they didn't have much... I was disappointed. But after looking at the few that they did have. I wasn't impressed. They weren't even silk... So after 2 hours of looking. I finally found what I wanted. For my bouquet... Silk White roses with pink tips, we'll be adding th… Continue

Well not sure how to go about it. But I would like the tuxedo's to be brown. I would love Brandon to have a champagne colored vest and tie. And the grooms men to have a fuchsia vest and tie. Still trying to decide. He hasn't told me who's he's having as his best man and groomsmen. My Love Continue

June Eustice My Dress...

I had my heart set on a dress from Davids Bridal. But It's well over $1200.00 A month ago Brandon and I stopped at a boutique. I was there for an hour looking at dresses from a magazine. Finally, I found the dress of my dreams. I so can't wait. Brandon loves it. It's only $690 but its beautiful... The color is Champagne. June Eustice A little intro...

This will be my 2nd marriage, but my first wedding. I am so excited for this day to come. I never knew how much fun this would be to plan this special day. I asked Brandon if its weird for me to have a wedding. He assured me its not. And thats its my first. When I saw my Uncle walk down the aisle with his daughter (Heather)... June Eustice The Proposal... Jan 5, 2009

The girls and I was visiting my parents in Colorado for Christmas break 2007. We met them half way, so I didn't have to drive in the bad weather with the kids. And it helped out alot since Audrey was 11 months... On our return we was suppose to meet half way. But my dad offered to drive us all the way. He's a private investigator for the government and I knew he had some jobs to take care of out of state. So it was weird that he offered to drive all the way. I did have a feeling. Kounsrey Wedding plans underway again

Last week I sent my wedding dress designs to my cousin in Cambodia and it is currently being made. Its going to cost me about $70 US to make the white dress. What a bargain! I will hopefully get that in the next 3 weeks. While it is great that I could get it that fast, I am attempting to lose some more weight so hopefully it does not dramatically effect my dress. I guess I can take it in abit when it gets closer to the date. I am also making some beautiful lace dress for my mum which costs abou… Continue

Tonya Finally

We went yesterday and put my ring on layaway. It was about time. Kinda weird planning a wedding but no ring. I know Marshall very well, he told me he had finallly picked a date and it was soon. Hmmm? I wonder when that could be. I bet it is either April 25th or mothers day. He gives himself up so easily. He knows that I am a good guesser and I told him not to tell me anything because my guesses are pretty accurate. So we'll see. Continue

Sherrie Types of Wedding Dress Necklines

If you think that the choice of a wedding dress is made complicated enough by the length, color and design, then wait until you realize that there is another factor that can complicate the choice even further. Fortunately or unfortunately (however you look at it), there are also a variety of different necklines for your gown.

You can be frivolous, adventurous and even daring when choosing your neckline. You can get a lot of advice from your designer but it is best to know some of the…

Sherrie Wedding Dresses 101 - To Train Or Not To Train?

If you are planning a wedding ala the late Princess Diana Spencer then a train is definitely part and parcel of your wedding gown. But if your wedding is not as grand or as formal then you might reconsider attaching a train to your gown.

Although it is not a part of the wedding dress, the train nevertheless is part of the decision making when choosing the bridal dress. Aside from personal preferences, the type of your wedding should determine the need for one.

Sherrie Planning Your Rehearsal Dinner

Planning your wedding takes more than making preparations for the wedding ceremony, alone. As a matter of fact, there are a few events that must take place before the actual day of the wedding. Many couples choose to host an engagement party shortly after getting engaged and most host a rehearsal dinner a day or two before the wedding day. The bride may also opt to host a bridesmaid's luncheon for her girlfriends. For the sake of this article, we will focus on the rehearsal din

Skyla Here we go...

Well, my fiance and I have started to plan the wedding. We've been engaged for almost a year and I got tired of waiting and the pestering I got from my father and decided to get things in motion. It's been an interesting journey so far. We've been throwing ideas around for different aspects of the wedding for a few weeks. I decided that I needed a place to get input from other brides-to-be and be able to put some ideas down somewhere I wouldn't lose it. Well, that's all for now.
